Special Issue on Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention
Suicide is a major public health concern. Over 41,000 people die by suicide each year in the United States; it is the 10th leading cause of death overall. Suicide is tragic. But it is often preventable. Knowing the risk factors for suicide and who is at risk can help reduce the suicide rate. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of advances in crisis intervention and suicide prevention.
In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore crisis intervention and suicide prevention. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
