Special Issue on Heparin for Medical-Surgical Use

Heparin is an injectable anticoagulant that prevents the formation of blood clots, which is widely used to treat and prevent blood clots in the veins, arteries, or lung as well as used before surgery to reduce the risk of blood clots.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Heparin for Medical-Surgical Use. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Unfractionated heparin
• Low-molecular-weight heparin
• Enoxaparin
• Dalteparin
• Heparin side effects
• Mechanism of action
• Heparin structure
• Medical use (acute coronary syndrome, hemofiltration or cryonics)
• Surgical use (hip replacement or abdominal surgery)
• Other uses (sports injuries or protein purification)

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
