Special Issue on Future Trend in Chinese Medicine

Chinese medicine refers to traditional medicine developed in ancient China, which studies disciplines of human physiology, pathology, disease diagnosis and prevention. Through long-term medical practice, the Chinese medicine has gradually developed into a system of medical theory. It carried the experience and theoretical knowledge of disease summarized by ancient Chinese people. 

Chinese medicine basing on the holism concept and similar theory has a very different thinking mode from modern science originated in Europe. While, there have been more and more research papers about Chinese medicine published in the scientific journal, and tried to explain the treatment mechanisms of the this ancient medicine in the perspective of modern science. Many evidences have shown that Chinese medicine has unique advantages in the treatment of certain chronic diseases. With depth theoretical study of modern Chinese medicine, this ancient medicine has been generally recognized by the western medical profession, and now it has been a hotspot in the field of medical research. This special issue is aimed at providing researchers a platform to communicate the newest academic achievements in Chinese medicine.

In this special issue, we are going to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore Future Trend in Chinese Medicine.

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission, Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.
