Special Issue on Functional Analysis

Functional analysis, branch of mathematical analysis dealing with functionals, or functions of functions. It emerged as a distinct field in the 20th century, when it was realized that diverse mathematical processes, from arithmetic to calculus procedures, exhibit very similar properties. A functional, like a function, is a relationship between objects, but the objects may be numbers, vectors, or functions. Groupings of such objects are called spaces. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of functional analysis.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore functional analysis. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Metric and normed spaces; completeness
  • Banach spaces; linear continuous functions; weak topology
  • Hilbert spaces; The riesz representation theorem
  • The Lax-milgram lemma
  • Properties of the Lp spaces
  • Distributions and sobolev spaces
  • Application: simulating a membrane Integration

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Functional Analysis” should be selected during your submission.
