Special Issue on Welding and Cutting Technology

Welding involves joining two or more pieces of metal or thermoplastics together to form a single piece. Unlike welding processes which join two pieces of materials, cutting technology involve separating or severing a piece of metal through intense heat generated to melt the metal. Different materials require different welding and cutting processes.

 

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring welding and cutting technology. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Welding and cutting processes
• Welding and cutting equipment
• Welding materials
• Quality assurance of welding and cutting
• Safety technique
• Development trend of welding and cutting technology

 

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

 

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Welding and Cutting Technology” should be selected during your submission.
