Special Issue on Radioactive Contamination

Undesirable radioactive material (with a potentially harmful effect) that is either airborne or deposited in (or on the surface of) structures, objects, soil, water, or living organisms (people, animals, or plants) in a concentration that may harm people, equipment, or the environment. The degree of hazard is determined by the concentration of the contaminants, the energy of the radiation being emitted, the type of radiation, and the proximity of the contamination to organs of the body. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in this area of radioactive contamination.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore radioactive contamination. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Sources of pollution
  • Contamination hazards
  • Control and monitoring of contamination
  • Radiation exposure
  • Pollution prevention and control
  • Health effects of contamination

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Radioactive Contamination” should be selected during your submission.
