Special Issue on Water Resources Managements
Water provision and governance of water systems are of a complex nature, involving many different stakeholders at different levels and shaped by the political and institutional context of a country. The management of water is not merely a technical issue; it requires a mix of measures including changes in policies, prices and other incentives, as well as infrastructure and physical installations. Integrated water resources management (IWRM) focuses on the necessary integration of water management across sectors, policies and institutions.
In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore water resources managements. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Water management and water services
-
Water resources assessment, development
-
Water resources conservation and control, policies and strategies
-
Water security
-
The complexity of water management
-
Agricultural water managements
-
Managing water in urban settings
-
Future of water resources
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly note that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title should be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Water Resources Managements” should be selected during your submission.
