Special Issue on Fetal Health and Development
A fetus grows and develops inside the mother's womb that normally lasts nine months, which consists of three trimesters, each has three-month period of pregnancy. During each trimester, specific prenatal tests are needed to monitor the maternal and fetal health, so as to detect birth defects, identify problems that may affect childbirth and address fetal problems before the baby is born, etc..
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Fetal Health and Development. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
