Special Issue on Rough Set Theory and
Applications
Rough
set theory is a new
mathematical tool for imperfect data analysis. The theory has found
applications in many domains, such as engineering, environment, decision
support, economics and finance, web and text mining, medicine and others. The
goal of this Special Issue is to provide a platform for scientists worldwide to
promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of rough
set theory and applications.
In this
special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles on exploring rough
set theory and applications. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
Foundation and generalization of rough sets
-
Near sets, neighborhood rough sets
-
Bayesian rough sets
-
Probabilistic rough sets
-
Rough granular computing
-
Rough mereology
-
Rough uncertainly
-
Applications of rough sets
-
Hybridization of rough sets with other approaches
Authors
should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please
kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The
research field “Special Issue - Rough Set
Theory and Applications” should be selected during your submission.
