Special Issue on Wireless Networks and Services
A wireless
network enables people to communicate and access applications and information
without wires. This provides freedom of movement and the ability to extend
applications to different parts of a building, city, or nearly anywhere in the
world. Topics of interest include wireless LANS, radio, network architectures
for personal communication systems, and other wireless networks, design and
analysis of protocols, network services and service integration, network
management and network performance, standardization and regulatory issues,
nomadic computing, applications and user interface, specific system
descriptions, and enabling technologies for wireless networks.
In this special issue, we intend to invite
front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review
articles on exploring Wireless Networks and Services. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
