Special Issue on Wind Energy Research
Wind
energy captures
the natural wind in our atmosphere and converts it into mechanical energy or
electricity. People started using wind power centuries ago with windmills,
which pumped water, ground grain, and did other work. Today’s wind turbine is a
highly evolved version of a windwill. Wind is a type of renewable energy, and
there are three major types of wind power, including utility-scale wind,
distributed wind, and offshore wind.
In this
special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles on exploring energy
consumption and conservation. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
Wind turbines
-
Aerodynamics
-
Wind technology
-
Wind farms
-
Wind power capture, conversion, integration and utilization
-
Wind-generated electricity
Authors
should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please
kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The
research field “Special Issue - Wind Energy
Research” should be selected during your submission.
