Special Issue on Pasture & Forage
Pasture and forage consisted mainly of grasses, with an interspersion of legumes and other forbs, is plant material eaten by grazing livestock directly as pasture, crop residue, or immature cereal crops, but it also includes similar plants cut for fodder and carried to the animals, especially as hay or silage.
In addition, grasses also contribute to improving soil physical and chemical properties, maintaining the soil fertility, windbreak and sand-fixation, conserving soil and water, greening the environment and climate regulation.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring pasture & forage. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Pasture & Forage” should be selected during your submission.
