Special Issue on Advances in Meteorology
Meteorology is the interdisciplinary scientific study of the atmosphere. Meteorology has application in many diverse fields such as the military, energy production, transport, agriculture and construction,One of the most important application of which is the analysis and prediction of weather.
Meteorology consists of many areas: physical meteorology, dealing with physical aspects of the atmosphere such as rain or cloud formation, or rainbows and mirages; synoptic meteorology, the analysis and forecast of large-scale weather systems; dynamic meteorology, which is based on the laws of theoretical physics ; climatology, the study of the climate of an area ; aviation meteorology, researching weather information for aviation; atmospheric chemistry , examining the chemical composition and processes in the atmosphere; atmospheric optics, analyzing the optical phenomena of the atmosphere such as halos or rainbows; or agricultural meteorology, studying the relationship between weather and vegetation. While meteorology usually refers to the study of the earth's atmosphere, atmospheric science includes the study of the atmospheres of all the planets in the solar system.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Advances in Meteorology.
Authors should read over the journal’s Author’s Guidelines carefully before submission, Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue’’ under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue — Advances in Meteorology” should be chosen during your submission.
