Special Issue on Invasive Alien Species
This special issue on “Invasive Alien Species” (IAS) will be focusing on the latest development in plant sciences and technology. An invasive species is a plant that is not native to a specific location (an introduced species); and has a tendency to spread, which is believed to cause damage to the environment, biodiversity, human economy and/or human health.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring invasive alien species. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

Understand and describe the nature of the IAS problem, prevention and control

Invasive traits and major characteristics

Threats to biodiversity, ecosystem structure and agricultural production

Basic ecological, economic and public health impacts

Invasive plant pathogens and allelopathic effects

Genetic erosion

The world’s worst IAS

Factors that are enhancing the global spread of IAS

Cause and effects (land use change, habitat destruction, etc.)
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Invasive Alien Species” should be selected during your submission.
