Special Issue on Indigenous Education
Education was considered important in inducing or otherwise facilitating harmony between a person and the world. The goal was to produce a person with a well-integrated relationship between thought and action. This idealized outcome was anticipated as following naturally from the right education. It is essential that the relationship of Indigenous education to establishing and maintaining individual and community wholeness be seriously considered. Much of Indigenous education can be called "endogenous" education; it revolves around a transformational process of learning by bringing forth illumination from one's ego center.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring indigenous education. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Indigenous education and its role in individual transformation
-
Indigenous higher education units
-
Overcoming indigenous disadvantage
-
Benefits of Indigenous education
-
Criticisms of the western educational model
-
Educational gap
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Indigenous Education” should be chosen during your submission.
