Special Issue on Mechanisms of Climate Change

Global warming and climate change refer to an increase in average global temperatures. Natural events and human activities are believed to be contributing to an increase in average global temperatures. Global climate change has already had observable effects on the environment. Glaciers have shrunk, ice on rivers and lakes is breaking up earlier, plant and animal ranges have shifted and trees are flowering sooner. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in this area of mechanisms of climate change.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring mechanisms of climate change. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• The impacts of global warming 
• Extreme weather patterns
• Greenhouse gases emissions  
• Global environmental change
• Climate change flexibility mechanisms
• Simulation and prediction of global change
• Climate change mitigation: policy and options

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Mechanisms of Climate Change” should be chosen during your submission.
