Special Issue on Watershed Management Research

Watershed management is an adaptive, comprehensive, integrated multi-resource management planning process that seeks to balance healthy ecological, economic, and cultural/social conditions within a watershed. Watershed management serves to integrate planning for land and water; it takes into account both ground and surface water flow, recognizing and planning for the interaction of water, plants, animals and human land use found within the physical boundaries of a watershed. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of watershed management research.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore watershed management research. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Sources of pollution
• Watershed boundary
• Riparian zone
• Water distribution
• Watershed governance
• Water and chemical transport processes
• Watershed management model
• Watershed Management Process
• Watershed Plans 
• Integrated water resources management

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly note that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title should be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Watershed Management Research” should be selected during your submission.
