Special Issue on Critical Thinking and Critical Pedagogy
Critical pedagogy has been debated for more than three decades and appears in many and varied constructions and characterizations. One of the key issues to be considered is the potential for implementation of critical pedagogy in institutionalized educational settings, where it has not always found a comfortable home.
In this special issue, we are going to invite front-line researchers and authors to contribute original research and review articles on critical thinking and critical pedagogy. The topics to be covered by this special issue include, but are not limited to:
-
Relations and contrasts between the critical thinking and critical pedagogy
-
The historical development of critical pedagogy
-
Critiques of critical pedagogy
-
The relationship between critical pedagogy and assessment
-
Authentic dialogue and critical consciousness
-
Peer review and self-assessment
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Critical Thinking and Critical Pedagogy” should be chosen during your submission.
