Special Issue on Behavioral and Experimental Economics
Nowadays, Behavioral Economics and Experimental Economics are among the most active fields in economics, as measured by publications in major journals, new doctoral dissertations, seminars, workshops and conferences. The special issue of Behavioral and Experimental Economics welcomes submissions that deal with various economic topics but also involve issues that are related to other social sciences, especially psychology, or use experimental methods of inquiry. This issue is open to different research methodologies, as long as they are relevant to the topic and employed rigorously. Possible methodologies include, for example, experiments, surveys, empirical work, theoretical models, meta-analyses, case studies, and simulation-based analyses. In empirical work, it is important that the results are not only statistically significant but also economically significant.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring behavioral and experimental economics. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
