Special Issue on Mathematical Theory of Reliability

Reliability Theory is used to study the products based on the life-span characteristic. Reliability refers to the ability that the product completes its intended function under certain conditions. Mathematical theory of reliability has a wide application in engineering and industrial systems. As an indispensable fundamental in research subjects, mathematical theory of reliability is of great attractions to researchers.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore mathematical theory of reliability. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Evaluating the reliability of industrial systems
  • Evaluating the reliability of manufactured goods
  • The theory of coherent systems
  • Statistics analysis of life data
  • Reliability engineering
  • The applications of mathematical theory of reliability in engineering and industry

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly note that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title should be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Mathematical Theory of Reliability” should be selected during your submission.

Also please note the following timetable:
