Special Issue on Semigroup Theory and Applications
Semigroup is an algebraic structure consisting of a set together with an associative binary operation. The research on semigroups includes algebraic semigroups, topological semigroups, partially ordered semigroups, semigroups of measures and harmonic analysis on semigroups, and so on. Semigroups are important in many areas of mathematics because they are the abstract algebraic underpinning of "memoryless" systems: time-dependent systems that start from scratch at each iteration. As fundamental models for linear time-invariant systems in applied mathematics, semigroup theory is of great attraction to researchers.
In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore semigroup theory and applications. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Algebraic semigroups
-
Inverse semigroups
-
Topological semigroups
-
Partially ordered semigroups
-
Trivial semigroup
-
Numerical semigroup
-
Semigroups of measures and harmonic analysis on semigroups
-
Transformation semigroups
-
Semigroups of operators
-
Applications of semigroup theory
Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly note that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title should be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Semigroup Theory and Applications” should be selected during your submission.
