Call For Papers

Special Issue on Minimally Invasive Surgery

Minimally invasive surgery also called laparoscopic surgery for some conditions. In minimally invasive procedures, doctors make one or more incisions, each about a half-inch long, to insert a tube. The number of incisions depends on the type of surgery. The tubes let the doctor slip in tiny video cameras and specially designed surgical instruments to perform the procedure. Some advantages of the minimally invasive surgery include smaller incisions, less pain, and reduced bleeding and so on.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring minimally invasive surgery. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Robotic surgery
  • Laparoscopic surgery
  • Keyhole surgery
  • Endoscopic surgery
  • Minimally invasive surgery
  • Cases of minimally invasive surgery

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Minimally Invasive Surgery” should be chosen during your submission.
