Special Issue on Radiation Therapy Research

Radiation Therapy is the medical use of ionizing radiation, generally as part of cancer treatment to control or kill malignant cells. Radiation therapy may be curative in a number of types of cancer if they are localized to one area of the body. It may also be used as part of adjuvant therapy, to prevent tumor recurrence after surgery to remove a primary malignant tumor. On the other hand, radiation therapy is synergistic with chemotherapy, and has been used before, during, and after chemotherapy in susceptible cancers. As one of the most important research fields of human life, radiation therapy is of great attractions to researchers.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring radiation therapy. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Mechanism of action of radiation therapy
  • External beam radiation therapy
  • Brachytherapy
  • Radioisotope therapy
  • Side effects of radiation therapy
  • Radiation therapy accidents
  • Selective internal radiation therapy

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the Special Issue’’ under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Radiation Therapy Research” should be chosen during your submission.

According to the following timetable:
