Special Issue on Coral

 

Corals are marine invertebrates in class Anthozoa of phylum Cnidaria. The coral group inhabits tropical oceans and secretes calcium carbonate to form a hard skeleton. Corals can be major contributors the physical structure of the coral reefs, such as the enormous Great Barrier Reef in Australia. Others, corals’ many colors give it appeal for necklaces and jewelry. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in this area of corals.

 

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore coral. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

 

  •  The taxonomy of coral
  •  The physiological structure of coral
  •  The reproduction of coral
  •  Coral reefs formation and protection
  •  Coral application (jewelry or medicinal value)

 

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

 

Please kindly note that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title should be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Coral” should be selected during your submission.
