Special Issue on Crude Drug

 

Crude Drug refers to naturally occurring drug with pharmacologically active constituents in an unrefined state, which derived from organic and inorganic sources. These crude drugs can be made into teas, capsules, syrups, and other pharmaceutical products. Usually they need to be kept in a cool, dark, dry place to retain potency. A vast number of medicinal plants, animal parts and mineral products are also used as foods or in cosmetic preparations. The most important problem is the borderline between these groups and involves how to supplying consumers with safe and high-quality products. This special issue will be focused on studying different kinds of crude drugs and their applications.

 

 

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring crude drug. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Herb drug interactions
  • Crude drug extracts and pure
  • Therapeutic effect of crude drug
  • Sources and supply chains of crude drug
  • Quality control and evaluation
  • Herbal medicinal products
  • DNA authentication of crude drug
  • Food and crude drug

 

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

 

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Crude Drug” should be chosen during your submission.
