Profile Details

Dr. Ozgur Karcioglu has graduated from his residency in Department of Emergency Medicine, Turkey in 1998. He has attended the “International Emergency Medicine” Fellowship in PennState University (2005). Now he is the chair of Dept. of EM, Istanbul Education and Research Hospital. He has served as a founder and board member of The Emergency Medical Association of Turkey after 1995. More than 160 articles were published in scientific journals. Five edited book projects were published recently, with the collaboration of InTechOpen. Recently, three of his book projects entitled "Demystifying COVID-19: Understanding the disease, Its Diagnosis and Treatment” and “Cardiac Care and COVID-19: Perspectives in Medical Practice” and “Abdominal Pain: Essential Diagnosis and Management in Acute Medicine” were published by Bentham Science Publishers in 2021 and 2022. All these publications have been cited 1905 times so far (ResearchGate).
