Research Fields

Field of Zoonoses especially the use of modern techniques for diagnosis, prevention and control of Zoonotic diseases & Emerging Zoonotic diseases.

The use of serological techniques for identification and detection of pathogens or their products, as Complement Fixation test, Precipitation tests, Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) .etc.

The use of nontraditional methods for identification and detection of pathogens or their products, as genetic probes, nucleic acid hybridization, Western Blot Assay, Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) & Real time (PCR), Random Amplified Polymorphic DNA Fingerprinting (RAPD System), Pulsed Field Gel Electrophoresis (PFGE), DNA Sequencing etc.
