Research Fields
nanostructured materials, specifically on the synthesis of novel multifunctional materials, their characterization and the study of their physical properties.
Synthesis of crystalline metal oxide nanoparticles, hybrid materials and thin films by novel routes.
Characterization, especially by electron microscopy (TEM) and by spectroscopy means (UV-vis and Raman studies).
Study of their physical properties: optical, magnetic, catalytic, sensing.
Theoretical Simulation of optical properties at the nanoscale.
