Earth Observation Satellite and Earth Observation Satellite Technology
Six Earth observation satellites comprising the A-train satellite constellation as of 2014. Earth observation satellites are satellites specifically designed for Earth observation from orbit, similar to spy satellites but intended for non-military uses such as environmental monitoring, meteorology, map making etc.

In the present book, fifteen typical literatures about Earth Observation Satellite and Earth Observation Satellite Technology published on international authoritative journals were selected to introduce the worldwide newest progress, which contains reviews or original researches on 2D PWV monitoring of a wide and geographically complex area, Evaluation of precipitation extremes, distributed rainfall information, etc. We hope this book can demonstrate advances in Earth Observation Satellite and Earth Observation Satellite Technology as well as give references to the researchers, students and other related people.
